The Shepherd’s Hut sleeps 2 adults (double bed) with plenty of living space, but there is only the one shepherd’s hut – in a field of your own!

We offer 3 check in days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The number of nights that can been booked on these days are as follows:

For guidance –

Two adults including breakfast for the first night, all logs for the wood-fired hot-tub and ovens and lots of little extras!

Please note that our minimum stay is 2 nights.

Included in the price is sufficient logs for a two night stay for the wood burner and hot tub, a complimentary breakfast which includes local Twinings tea, carefully selected ground coffee, locally sourced fresh artisan bread and marmalade, granola and muesli from the award winning Dorset cereals and the all the basics like milk, butter etc.

The Hut lends itself to any time of the year – the log burner can be lit for those cooler days, and there is a radio, games and a few books to help you snuggle up in front of it. For those warmer sunny days the radial decking with our unique eco and quality recycled furniture allows you to enjoy the sunshine whilst looking out over the paddocks at the sheep, alpaca’s and wildlife, taking in the birds song. Or even relax in the Scandinavian freshwater hot tub all year round.

Please note that the Shepherd’s Hut has 4 steps leading up to the door and the nature of the accommodation means that it may not be fully wheelchair accessible – please call us for further details and we can talk through your access requirements. We do not allow dogs but are happy to accept Assistance Dogs as part of a booking, but please do talk to us first.

Once you have booked with us, we send you a confirmation e-mail.
A week prior to your stay, you’ll receive a welcome e-mail which includes bits of other useful information, together with details of how to purchase our speciality packages. Please do contact us if you need any help prior to arrival.
